Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide Medical and Pharmaceutical Waste Removal and Disposal services for Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point (NHCCP) and its associated branch clinics.

• The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other non-personal services necessary for the removal and disposal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Waste.

• Services include pick-up of approximately 240 medical waste boxes and 36 pharmaceutical waste boxes annually.

• Containers must meet DOT 49 CFR Parts 173, 178, and 179 specifications and be marked and labeled according to federal, state, and local regulations.

• The contractor shall provide properly trained drivers with DOT required endorsements for transporting regulated medical waste (RMW) and pharmaceutical waste.

• Manifests and certificates of destruction must be provided to the government within 30 days of pick-up.

• Pick-up of RMW and Pharmaceutical Waste containers: 100% acceptable quality level.

• Contractor-provided materials: 100% acceptable quality level.

• Contractor deliverables: 100% acceptable quality level.

• Transport, store, pick-up and dispose of RMW and Pharmaceutical waste with appropriate license/permits: 100% acceptable quality level.

• Period of Performance: One (1) year Base (October 01, 2026 - September 30, 2027) with four (4) one-year options.

• Place of Performance: Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point, MCAS Cherry Point, 4389 Beaufort Road, Cherry Point NC 28533.

• Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, excluding Federal holidays.

• Compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations for waste removal, transportation, and disposal.

• Contractor personnel must obtain installation access via the Defense Biometrics Identification System (DBIDS) or One-Day Passes, which includes background checks and adherence to specific criminal activity restrictions.

• Contractor personnel must wear identification badges.

• A Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is required for all contractor personnel with access to sensitive information.

• Government will provide a secure refrigerated medical waste storage unit.
