- Marking: Items must be marked in accordance with applicable Military Standards such as MIL-STD-130, MIL-STD-1285, MIL-STD-454, and MIL-P-15024/5.
- Configuration Control: Adherence to MIL-STD-973, Paragraph 5.4.8, for Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Deviations, and Waivers.
- Shelf Life: Compliance with DOD 4140.27-M, requiring not less than 85% shelf-life remaining at the time of receipt by the Government activity. Shelf-life items must be marked per MIL STD 129, MIL-STD-130, MIL STD 290, or FED STD 123.
- Quality Assurance: The contractor is responsible for all inspection requirements, with the Government reserving the right to perform inspections. Records must be maintained for 365 days post-delivery.
