Project Overview

The IHS provides federal health services to American Indians and Alaska Natives. NAIHS administers health centers and hospitals for approximately 201,583 members of the Navajo Nation. This market research aims to prepare for the continued requirement of claims processing services at CCHCF, which enables third-party billing collection from IHS beneficiaries' visits.

Scope of Work

The contractor will provide Full Preventive Maintenance services for the existing Internet Server used for 837 claims processing. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining full network services for IT delivery to CCHCF.
  • Providing training to CCHCF users.
  • Limiting downtime to ensure continuous operations.
  • Supporting patient access, verifying multiple commercial and government payers, and identifying additional billable insurance coverage.
  • Handling electronic claims submission for Medicare, Medicaid, VA, and Private Insurance, including 277/999 reports, rejection dashboards, denial reports, and claim correction/resubmission.
  • Managing FISS/DDE functions, such as secure Medicare Direct Data Entry (DDE) connections, multiple submitted IDs, claim visibility, online corrections, eligibility verifications, and EDI tracking.

Contract Details & Requirements
