Scope of Work
This requirement involves the revitalization of the existing Schneider Electric Symmetra PX500 UPS (480V, 32kVA 17% load) by replacing specific modular components. The existing UPS cabinet and batteries will remain. The scope includes:
- Component Replacement: Utilizing original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts from Schneider Electric, specifically SKU WMPR505-MP-505. This covers intelligence modules, static switch, H.E. power modules, power view display, network management card, switchgear board, battery monitor board, and system PSU.
- Associated Work: Delivery of components, on-site installation by certified professionals, system configuration to meet supply specifications, disposal of old componentry, and a one-year service agreement.
- Operational Continuity: The UPS supports mission-critical loads, and the facility must remain operational during revitalization. Offerors must include the cost of a temporary UPS in their firm-fixed price if required to maintain power during work.
Contract Details
- Contract Type: Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) for revitalization and installation (CLIN 0001). Time & Materials (T&M) for unscheduled service visits (labor, CLIN 0002) and unscheduled service parts (materials, CLIN 0004). An optional FFP CLIN (0003) is available for battery replacement.
- Period of Performance: 12 months, including initial equipment revitalization, installation, and a one-year service agreement commencing upon Government acceptance.

Place of Performance & Access
Work will be performed at Building 68, Rock Island Arsenal, IL 61299. Contractors require a Real ID and must pass a background check for base access. Escorts will be provided within Building 68. Preferred work hours are 0730-1600, but flexibility is allowed, with work outside standard hours preferred if power interruption is necessary. Work is restricted on federal holidays.
Key Requirements & Deliverables
