Additional Notes
Contractor staff will undergo routine VA background screens and fingerprinting, requiring a Tier 1 (NACI) investigation. Interim services may begin after a favorable Special Agreement Check (SAC) fingerprint result and when the investigation is in a 'scheduled' status. Immunizations (e.g., Hepatitis B, MMR, flu, COVID-19, TB screening) are not mandatory for contractor staff, but sick employees must stay home. The requirement does not include handling infectious or "red bag" linens. Bulk laundry and pressing are handled off-site by the contractor.
