The contractor is responsible for safely securing the metal; SIAD may assist with loading using government-owned equipment operated by depot employees.
  • Contractor Responsibilities: The contractor is responsible for all freight costs, shipping losses, and providing proof of removal (manifests, weight tickets, or bills of lading) to the SIAD Contract Point of Contact within three business days per removal.
