Statement of Work (SOW)

This Statement of Work (SOW) defines the requirements for establishing a fixed-price "Brand name or equal" purchase order for Shelving Units for the VA Stockton Engineering & Logistics Building.

• Provide VA Stockton products that meet or exceed the specifications outlined.

• Furnish Shelving Units for delivery to the VA Stockton Engineering & Logistics Building.

• Specific shelving unit models and their features are detailed, including:

  • M2055A: Wire shelving, chrome, stainless steel, adjustable shelves (approx. 72"H x 24"D x 72"W), includes various accessories.
  • M2055B: Wire shelving, chrome, stainless steel, adjustable shelves (approx. 72"H x 24"D x 72"W), includes various accessories.
  • M2070A: Heavy-duty adjustable storage shelving, steel frame, corrosion-resistant, 4 wire shelves, 77"H x 36"W x 18"D, 2500 lb capacity.
  • M2080: Storage shelving, 36"W x 24"D x 84"H, 3 shelves (expandable to 5), 1800lb capacity per shelf.
  • M2085: Pallet storage shelving starter section, heavy-duty construction, forklift accessible, boltless assembly, 16-gauge steel beams, fits 3 standard GMA 48 x 40 pallets.
  • M2085M: Pallet/Bulk shelving starter section, heavy-duty construction, forklift accessible, boltless assembly, 14-gauge steel frame, 16-gauge steel beams, fits various pallet sizes.

• Estimated delivery dates: May 31, 2026 to August 31, 2026.

• Delivery Address: Richard A. Pittman Stockton VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic, 6505 S. Manthey Rd, French Camp, CA 95231.

• Period of Performance: May 31, 2026 to August 31, 2026 (120 days after award for delivery).

• All equipment must be the newest and most current model of a standard product from a manufacturer of record.

• Manufacturer of record requirements include maintaining a factory production line, stock of replacement parts, engineering drawings, and published descriptive literature.

• Vendor must coordinate with the VA POC regarding construction schedule changes and potential interference with ongoing operations.

• Vendor is responsible for taking precautions to protect the premises and personnel from damage or injury.

• Vendor must comply with safety requirements imposed by the General Construction contractor.

• A one-year manufacturer's warranty with free replacement and return shipping is required.

• Work hours are normal business hours (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday), excluding Federal Holidays. Work outside these hours requires request through the Point of Contact.

• Delivery is FOB Destination.

• Installation costs to anchor units to the floor are to be included.

Amendment / Modification

• This amendment attaches the Statement of Work (SOW) to the solicitation.

• The Statement of Work is now included as part of the solicitation documents.

• Bidders should review the attached SOW for requirements and incorporate it into their proposals. No changes to proposal deadlines or submission instructions are indicated by this amendment, other than the inclusion of the SOW.

Sources Sought Notice

This notice is for market research purposes to identify contractors capable of providing shelving units for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Sacramento VA Medical Center – VA Northern California Health Care System (VANCHCS) Stockton Engineering & Logistics Building. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Request for Quote (RFQ).

• Procurement of shelving units to outfit a new facility for member services.

• Products must meet or exceed specified requirements.

• Equipment supplied must be the newest and most current model of a standard product from a manufacturer of record.

• Delivery schedule is based on the current construction schedule and is subject to change; vendors shall not increase prices due to construction delays.

• Vendors must provide a capabilities statement with their response.

• Work may be performed on an active construction site, requiring vendors to take necessary precautions for safety and property protection.

• Not specified, as this is a Sources Sought Notice.

• Interested contractors should respond in writing.
