Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This Statement of Work (SOW) outlines the government's requirements for the purchase and installation of electric roll-up doors at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina. It also includes the integration of approved Government Furnished Property/Equipment (GFP/GFE) into the existing Logistics Readiness Squadron warehouse infrastructure.

• Deliverables:

  • Three (3) dark bronze 10'x10' electric roll-up doors with Kynar finish, motor operators, and standard button stations.
  • One (1) dark bronze 10'x11' electric roll-up door with Kynar finish, motor operators, and standard button stations.
  • One (1) electric motor operator with standard button stations for an existing 12'x14' CHI roll-up door.

• Installation: All necessary personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and services for installation.

• Ancillary Services: Provision of ancillary equipment, materials, associated infrastructure, removal and disposal of previous doors, and means to conduct preventative maintenance.

• Compatibility: All motor operators must be compatible with existing single pole 120-volt facility power.

• Removal & Disposal: Removal and disposal of discarded parts, packaging materials, and outdated door components.

• Location: Building #216, Logistics Readiness Squadron warehouse, 321 Cullen St, Shaw AFB, SC, 29152.

• Hours of Operation: Government normal duty hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Command Post operates 24/7.

• Security: Contractor personnel must obtain required passes and identification items. All identification media must be returned upon employee departure.

• On-base Restrictions: Compliance with all base traffic regulations, prohibition of cell phone use while driving (except hands-free), and prohibition of weapons/firearms.

• Hazardous Material Management: Tracking and management of Hazardous Materials (HM) using EESOH-MIS. Prior authorization from HAZMART is required before using any HMs. Disposal of all waste must comply with federal, state, and local regulations. Universal waste management and disposal are required in accordance with SC DHEC and 40 CFR Part 273.

• Reporting: Immediate reporting of any information or circumstances posing a threat to security to the appropriate Government authority.

Statement of Work (SOW)

Contract performance will occur at the 20th Logistics Readiness Squadron. Delivery and installation are the responsibility of the contractor, coordinated with the receiver.

• Contractor Responsibilities: Maintain clean work areas, recycle waste, and dispose of waste according to federal, state, and local regulations.

• Contractor Personnel/Manager: A contract manager with full authority must be designated. Personnel must be proficient in English and comply with all installation, facility safety, and security regulations.

• Hours of Operation: Government normal duty hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The Command Post operates 24/7.

• Recognized Holidays: A list of recognized holidays and pass days for the 20th Fighter Wing is provided.
