Project Scope
This project involves the installation of a comprehensive microgrid system designed to provide energy resilience for at least 14 days for mission-critical functions, utilizing both renewable and fossil fuel energy sources. The system must have full islanding capability and seamlessly integrate with the grid. Key components include:
- A ground-mounted 750kW photovoltaic (PV) solar system with low voltage switchgear.
- A 750kWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), including two 500kW inverters.
- An 800kW diesel backup generation system with a 10,000-gallon fuel storage tank.
- A master microgrid controller and automatic smart switches to manage generation resources.
