Scope of Work
This opportunity seeks to onboard new vendors and allow existing awardees to update their offerings for Chipper services. Chippers are required for use during fire suppression and all-hazard incidents across USFS Regions 5 and 6, and potentially nationwide. The open-season Onboarding period runs concurrently with the USFS Contracting Officer’s annual I-BPA review, allowing both new offerors and existing I-BPA awardees to participate.

Evaluation
New quote submissions must meet all Acceptability Pass/Fail requirements and will be evaluated using the same evaluation factors and sub-factors as the original solicitation. Any resulting new I-BPA awards will be identical in terms and conditions, including the period of performance, to the original agreements.
Additional Notes
This Onboarding is not a new procurement action but an amendment to the original solicitation. Vendors must submit responses through the “VIPR NextGen” application located at https://www.fs.usda.gov/business/incident/vendorapp.php?tab=tab_d. After the Onboarding and annual review/rollover processes, newly awarded Contractors or newly accepted resources will be eligible for dispatch and BPA Calls.
