This notice informs industry of the Government's intent for the WSISS VI requirement. The NAWCWD supports Navy aircraft Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Program Support Offices. The scope of work includes:
- Aircraft Weapons and Systems Integration
- Software Engineering
- IPT Program Technical Support
- Design, Fabrication, and Integration Services
- Aircraft Modification Support
The primary Product Service Code is K016 (Modification Of Equipment: Aircraft Components And Accessories). Place of performance will predominantly be at Government facilities such as China Lake, PT. Mugu, and Eglin.
Contract & Requirements
- Contract Type: Anticipated single-award IDIQ.
- Set-Aside: Total Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5).
- Clearance: Facility Clearance (FCL) at Top Secret (TS) with secret storage, and personnel clearances at Secret and TS. Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 CP3AO is also a required capability.
- Platforms: Majority of current work focuses on F/A-18 and EA-18G platforms, with increasing F-35 requirements.
- Subcontracting: Subcontracting is encouraged for firms that are partially capable of performing all tasking.
- Evaluation (Anticipated): While not finalized, the prior contract used a best-value tradeoff approach, prioritizing Technical factors, then Past Performance, and then Cost. Importantly, prior WSISS or NAWCWD China Lake experience will not receive evaluation credit.
