Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This solicitation is for the design-bid-build EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades construction project at the Brooklyn VA Medical Center (VAMC). The project aims to prepare the site for building operations, including demolition, removal of existing structures, and furnishing labor and materials for necessary infrastructure upgrades.

The scope of work includes, but is not limited to:

• Electrical upgrades (panel upgrades, power - normal and emergency)

• Bonding and UPS systems

• Building Management System interfaces

• HVAC upgrades and reconfiguration

• Renovation and expansion of existing space (demolition, new construction, finishes)

• Renovation of Building 14 – First (1st) Floor Regional Data Center

• Construction of a new Data Center (site work, demolition, new construction, finishes, HVAC, UPS, cable management, power)

• Communication infrastructure upgrades (data outlets, patch panels, Cat 6A cable)

• Physical security upgrades

• Fiber infrastructure backbone upgrades (campus-wide, between and within buildings)

• Site civil work and investigation

• Hazardous material abatement Work will be performed in Buildings 1, 2, 4, 14, 15, and the site.

• Contract Type: Single firm-fixed-price contract.

• Period of Performance: 730 calendar days from the issuance of the notice to proceed.

• Estimated Value: Between $20,000,000 and $50,000,000.

• The solicitation will be issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB) under FAR part 14.
