- Surface Coating: Cleaning, stripping, rust removal, priming, and application of two coats of Sherwin-Williams Macropoxy 646 with a Polyurethane UV-stable topcoat for ASTs 1 & 2.
- Component Replacement: Base seal, approximately five valves, automatic tank gauges (Shand & Jurs with Model 92021), pressure test ports, and emergency vents.
- Regulatory Compliance: Adherence to WV Legislative Rule Title 47, Series 63; NFPA 30; West Virginia State Fire Marshal regulations; manufacturer guidelines; and OSHA Standards.
- Fuel Removal: Contractor responsible for removing approximately 59,596 gallons from AST 1 and 29,869 gallons from AST 2 for internal inspections.
- Lead Paint Abatement: Lead-based paint is present; contractor must properly contain lead dust, provide trained personnel, and handle as hazardous waste.
- Wastewater Discharge: Discharge of water from dike and power washing is not permitted under the current NPDES permit; a one-time request through WV DEP is required.
