Scope of Work
Contractors will provide all necessary materials, labor, equipment, tools, transportation, supervision, and expertise for road maintenance and construction services on National Forest roads across multiple districts within the Kisatchie National Forest. Road Maintenance Services (subject to Service Contract Act) include:
- Grading aggregate surfaced roads, spot surface repair, cleaning/reshaping ditches.
- Cleaning cattle guards, roadside mowing, seeding/fertilizing roadsides, machine placing riprap. Road Construction Services (subject to Davis-Bacon Act) include:
- Slide removal, slump repair, ditch reconstruction, machine-placed riprap (Class II and III).
- Culvert replacement (government-furnished and contractor-furnished). Equipment must be free of invasive species. A contractor representative must be designated, and a Quality Control Program established.
Contract Details
- Contract Type: Multiple Performance Based, ID/IQ Requirements Contracts.
- Period of Performance: June 1, 2026, to May 30, 2031 (one-year base period + four one-year option periods).
- Estimated Value: Minimum order of $2,000 per district; combined maximum of $7.5M for all districts.
