Scope of Work

  • Base Bid: Removal and replacement of existing drywall, insulation, interior painting, various flooring types (carpet tile, ceramic tile, Luxury Vinyl Tile), reflected ceiling tiles, pipe and duct insulation, and kitchenette cabinetry. Work will be performed on the first and second floors.
  • Optional Bid Item (OBI) #1: Installation of epoxy flooring in specific hallways and bullpen areas. The facility will provide ceiling tiles, and the contractor must supply portable restrooms.

Contract Details

  • Period of Performance: 120 calendar days after notice to proceed.
  • Set-Aside: Total Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5), NAICS code 236220 with a $45 Million size standard.
  • Wage Rates: Adherence to Davis-Bacon prevailing wage rates for Atlantic County, NJ, is required.
  • Materials: Compliance with Buy American Act for construction materials. Materials must be free from lead, chlorine compounds, mercury, cadmium, PDBEs, phthalates, and PFOAs, and low-VOC products are required. A one-year warranty for all workmanship and materials is mandatory.
  • Bonds: Performance and Payment Bonds are required within 15 calendar days after award.
