Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide emergency service and maintenance for the Veterans’ Health Care System of the Ozarks (VHSO) Fire Alarm System, including various types of fire suppression and detection systems.

• Furnish all management, supervision, labor, materials, equipment, and services for the maintenance and repair of fire alarm systems, wet/dry sprinkler systems, hydrants, fire pumps, and dry chemical (hood) systems.

• Services include scheduled and unscheduled repairs, emergency service, troubleshooting, ground fault repair, annual, semi-annual, and quarterly inspections.

• Verification of existing and new dimensions, locations, and quantities of equipment on the VHSO Main Campus and outbuildings.

• All tests and inspections must comply with current NFPA standards (NFPA 25, 72, 13, 20, 291, 96) and Joint Commission requirements.

• Emergency/unscheduled service requires a qualified technician on-site within 2 hours, with corrections or a contingency plan within 4 hours.

• Specific testing includes 5-year comprehensive tests, annual, semi-annual, and quarterly inspections for various fire alarm components, water-based systems, dry pipe systems, kitchen hood systems, backflows, hydrants, standpipes, and fire pumps.

• Contractor must furnish monitoring for two separate cell dialers.

• Contractor must furnish a minimum of one Notifier Onyx Series factory-trained technician and at least one technician meeting NFPA 72 qualifications with NICET Level II certification.
