Key Requirements & Evaluation
Award will be made to the eligible, responsible offeror whose quote is the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). Technical acceptability requires:
- Submitting the name of the source for HR-1 powder. The awarded vendor must have LP-DED manufacturing capability and source raw materials from approved sources.
- Providing a written explanation of relevant work similar in scope, magnitude, and complexity.
- Consideration of past performance information in the Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS); negative information may render a quote technically unacceptable.
- CMMC Level 2 (Self) or higher is required prior to award for systems processing Federal Contract Information (FCI) or Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). Offerors must provide CMMC unique identifier(s) (UIDs) from SPRS.
