Additional Notes
Amendment 005 provides crucial clarification regarding Line Item #0002 (compactor). The existing contract with Waste Management (WM) runs until April 30th, 2026, and includes a WM-owned compactor. Vendors proposing to use WM as a subcontractor are not expected to provide a new compactor. However, vendors providing their own equipment or using a different subcontractor must factor in the costs for installation and eventual removal of a new compactor, as the existing WM unit would be removed. All line items, even those with a $0.00 amount, must be included in quotes. An additional, non-mandatory site visit was previously offered on March 26th, 2026. For questions, contact Stephanie Cahill at Stephanie.Cahill@va.gov or 303-712-5841.
