Bidders are reminded that failure to acknowledge this amendment in Block 19 of the SF 1442 by the designated date and hour specified in the solicitation may result in the rejection of their bid. All other terms and conditions of the original solicitation remain unchanged.

This amendment (A001) modifies the solicitation.

• Solicitation/Offer and Award (SF 1442): Pages A-1, A-4, and E-26 are removed and replaced with new versions.

• Section 154. CONTRACTOR SAMPLING AND TESTING: Subsection 154.04B (Laboratory (Contractor-Provided)) has been added.

• Section 155. SCHEDULES FOR CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS: Subsection 155.05 (Baseline Construction Schedule) has been updated to include activities for permit review and approval. Subsection 155.06(d)(1) has been modified to delete Subsection (f) and substitute it with revised construction activities affected by impacts and an approved time impact analysis, including a revised completion date.

• The deadline for receipt of offers is extended to 2:00 p.m. local time on June 16, 2026.

• Bidders must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to the specified hour and date for receipt of offers. Failure to do so may result in rejection of the offer.

• The "Failure to Acknowledge This Amendment" note emphasizes the importance of acknowledging the amendment in Block 19 of the SF 1442 by the designated date and hour to avoid bid rejection.

This solicitation is for a roadway construction project to rehabilitate the approach road and parking lot for the Madison Wetland Management District (WMD) Headquarters and the United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) Visitor Center.
