Quick Summary
The Department of the Air Force (FA8137 AFSC PZIOC) is soliciting proposals for the Repair of the Chilled Water System at Building 2280 at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. This is a construction-only contract with an estimated magnitude exceeding $10,000,000, procured via a Two-Step Sealed Bidding process. This opportunity is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. Proposals are due June 8, 2026, at 05:00 PM local time.
Scope of Work
The contractor will furnish all materials, labor, plant, tools, transportation, equipment, testing services, quality control, and incidentals required to repair the chilled water system. This includes performing a site investigation, identifying necessary logistical, architectural, and structural work elements, and providing any unlisted assemblies or fixtures to ensure a complete, fully operating system. Government-provided information (e.g., floor plans, utility locations) is approximate and requires field verification. Work will occur in airfield operations and controlled/restricted areas, necessitating FOD awareness training, specific badging (AFMC Form 387, AF Form 1199C), and Airfield Construction Waivers for access. Lead-based paint concerns have been identified, and affirmative procurement requirements for EPA-designated, USDA-designated biobased, and Energy Star items apply. Asbestos was not detected in analyzed samples.
