Scope of Work
This acquisition supports the VHA Whole Health System Directive 1445. The contractor will provide a system equivalent to the C.A.R.E. Channel, which includes nature video and instrumental music. Key requirements include:
- Procurement of the Whole Healthcare Channel System (Brand Name or Equal to C.A.R.E. Channel).
- Provision of C.A.R.E. Channel programming service.
- Integration of a single video input signal into existing MATV systems at Seattle (300 CATV drops) and American Lake (100 CATV drops) campuses.
- Semi-annual mailing of new media devices for installation by VA personnel.
- Annual content licensing and equipment rental for a total of 5 years.
Note: The VA Puget Sound will self-install media player and media channel modulator hardware; on-site installation by the contractor is not required.
