Scope of Work
The selected contractor will provide all necessary supervision, labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and quality control to fully refurbish the cosmetic appearance and protective coatings of six outdoor, non-flyable replica aircraft. This includes:
- Surface preparation, structural reinforcement, and corrosion repair.
- Priming, painting, and reproduction of national insignia, squadron tail codes, tail numbers, and special markings.
- Application of long-term weather and UV protection.
- Repair or replacement of any missing components to match original condition.
- Responsibility for removal, transport, secure storage, and reinstallation of the display models. Models are fixed as single units and will be removed from their concrete bases for refurbishment.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Contractors must demonstrate past experience refurbishing outdoor aircraft static display models.
- Adherence to AFI 84-101, Federal Standard 595C, and ASTM G154.
- A Project Manager with experience in composite repair and high-performance exterior coatings is required.

- A two-year warranty against peeling, cracking, or significant fading is mandatory.
- A Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Assessment must be completed within the Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS) prior to contract award.

Technical acceptability is based on compliance with the PWS.
