Quick Summary

The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Combat Support (CZ) Directorate is hosting an Industry Day on March 31, 2026, for the upcoming Decisive Action Follow-On acquisition. This event will provide classified information on the program, technical requirements, and acquisition schedule for professional analytical and advisory services to counter Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) and emerging threats. A draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) has been released.

Purpose of Industry Day

DTRA is conducting market research to inform its acquisition strategy for a follow-on contract, anticipated to be valued over $100,000,000. The Industry Day offers a crucial opportunity for industry partners to engage with the Government, ask questions, provide feedback on the draft PWS, and for DTRA to understand current market capabilities.

Anticipated Acquisition Details

The future contract will require comprehensive support across several key areas:

  • Program Management: Overall contract management and reporting.
  • CWMD Support: Advisory and operational support for Countering WMD, including sensitive activity planning and global competition.
  • Global Engagements (GE) Department Support: Administrative, analytical, and coordination for engagements with Combatant Commands (CCMDs), interagency, and foreign partners.
  • Contingency Operations (CO) Department Support: Facility management, operational/policy support, logistics, and uncrewed systems.
  • Systems Engineering and Operational Planning Support: Embedded operational planning and technology monitoring.

Contractor personnel will require a minimum Top Secret (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility, with some roles needing additional access levels (SAP, STO, ACCM, CI Polygraph, Sub-Gamma). Due to anticipated government space constraints, contractors may need to provide secure facilities (SCIFs) with classified storage and JWICS VTC capability in the National Capital Region (NCR). The contract vehicle (IDIQ vs. single award) and any small business set-aside will be determined after market research.
