• Market research was conducted per FAR Part 10. Mandatory sources of supply were reviewed and found not capable of providing the requirement.

• The item has been deemed "Non-Critical".

• A DD2579 will be submitted to the SBA for approval.

• A synopsis will be posted for 15 days.

• The award will be a firm-fixed-price contract using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation criteria.

• NAVSUP WSS will continue to encourage vendors with the expertise to manufacture/repair the subject item to submit a complete technical data package (TDP) for review and source approval to promote future competition.

• Future requirements will be advertised on SAM.gov.

• The contracting officer determines that the anticipated cost will be fair and reasonable. An analysis of cost information will be performed if certified cost and pricing data is required.
