Scope of Work
The project requires the procurement and installation of two (2) new 50hp rotary service air compressors, each capable of ≥ 220 CFM at 115 psig. The scope includes:
- Demolition and removal of two existing compressors.
- Installation of the new compressors within the existing VKF service air compressor envelope (15'6"x14'5" concrete pad).
- Furnishing and installing welded black iron piping for air discharge, and pipe/fittings for condensate drains and water discharge.
- Making electrical connections to the backside of the 480V disconnect for each compressor.
- Initial start-up, operational check-out, and commissioning by factory-trained technicians.
- Providing a written report validating operation per OEM specifications and evaluating performance/efficiency.
- Delivery of all items to Arnold AFB within 3 Months After Receipt of Order (ARO).

All vendors must be registered in SAM.gov. .zip files are not an acceptable submission format.

Additional Notes
The government will provide a 40T overhead crane and/or forklift for installation lifts and will be responsible for the disposal of existing compressors. Vendors are encouraged to suggest improvements for the existing condensation collection system.
