Scope of Work

- Demolition and removal of two (2) existing compressors.
- Installation of the new compressors, ensuring they fit within the existing concrete pad (15'6"x14'5").
- Furnishing all necessary equipment and rigging for removal and replacement.
- Installation of welded black iron piping for air discharge and fittings for condensate drains, reusing existing materials where possible.
- Extending electrical supply to the backside of the 480V disconnect for each compressor.
- Initial start-up, operational check-out, and commissioning by factory-trained technicians.
- Providing a written report validating operation per OEM specifications, performance characterization, and a detailed maintenance schedule.
Contract Details
This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (RFQ) for a commercial product, intended to result in a Purchase Order. The acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS code 333912 (Air and Gas Compressor Manufacturing) with a 1,000-employee size standard. Delivery of all items and completion of services are required within 3 Months After Receipt of Order (ARO). Evaluation will be based on the Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) quote.

Submission Requirements
Vendors must submit a technical quote/solution, expected delivery date, a statement confirming the total quoted price is all-inclusive, and a completed Pricing Worksheet (Attachment 2). Quotes must remain firm for 30 calendar days. All vendors must be registered in SAM.gov. Note that .zip files are not an acceptable format for submission.
Important Considerations
The acquisition is subject to the Buy American Act (FAR 52.225-1). Vendors are responsible for making their own electrical connections to the backside of the 480V disconnect. AEDC will provide a 40T overhead crane and/or forklift to support installation lifts. The government requires Unlimited Data Rights to all technical data and reports produced, and a Quality Control Plan (QCP) is mandatory. Bidders should review Attachment 3 for comprehensive FAR/DFARS clauses, including electronic invoicing via WAWF.
