Scope of Work
This opportunity requires the procurement of two (2) 50hp New Rotary Service Air Compressors, including the demolition of existing units, installation of new compressors, and initial start-up, operational check-out, and commissioning. The new compressors must meet minimum specifications of 115 psig pressure rating, 50hp power, and a capacity of at least 220 CFM each, fitting within the existing VKF service air compressor envelope. Vendors are responsible for furnishing and installing necessary equipment, rigging, welded black iron piping, and connections for condensate drains and water discharge. Electrical connections to the backside of the 480V disconnect for each compressor are also the vendor's responsibility. The government will provide a 40T overhead crane and/or forklift for installation lifts and will be responsible for the disposal of existing compressors. The Buy American Act applies to this acquisition.
Contract Details
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial product, with an anticipated award as a purchase order under FAR Part 12 procedures. Delivery of all items and completion of services are required within 3 Months After Receipt of Order (ARO) at Arnold Air Force Base, Tennessee.

Submissions must include a technical quote/solution, expected delivery date, a statement confirming all-inclusive costs, and a completed Pricing Worksheet (Attachment 2). Quotes will be evaluated based on the lowest complete and reasonable price among technically acceptable offers. The government reserves the right to conduct interchanges.
