Scope of Work
The requirement is for two (2) 50hp New Rotary Service Air Compressors, each capable of ≥ 220 CFM at 115 psig. The scope includes:
- Demolition and removal of two existing compressors.
- Installation of the new compressors within the existing 15'6"x14'5" concrete pad envelope.
- Furnishing all necessary equipment, rigging, and piping for air discharge, condensate drains, and water discharge.
- Extending electrical supply to the backside of the 480V disconnect for each compressor (vendor responsibility).
- Initial start-up, operational check-out, and commissioning by factory-trained technicians.
- Basic operator training and a detailed maintenance schedule.
- A written report validating operation per OEM specifications. The installation area is indoors on the ground floor of the VKF Plant building, accessible via large roll-up doors. AEDC will provide a 40T overhead crane and/or forklift for installation lifts. The government will be responsible for the disposal of existing compressors.

The government has adequate air storage and existing desiccant dryer, tank, and filter/oil water separator; however, suggestions for improving the condensation collection system are welcome.
