Purpose & Scope

This CSO aims to leverage commercial innovation to support diverse Requirement Activities at the Detroit Arsenal (DTA), Selfridge Air National Guard Base (SANGB), and the National Capital Region (NCR). Supported organizations include TACOM, GVSC, PEO GCS, PEO CS&CSS, ILSC, USAG-DTA, CMH, CAA, AME, and NMUSA. The Strategic Services Branch, through its Services Team A, Base Operations & Construction Team, and TACOM Service Solutions Team, seeks solutions across a broad spectrum, including IT hardware/software/services, museum exhibit design/fabrication/installation, artifact restoration/conservation, modeling/simulation, transcription, custodial, grounds/facilities, and other support services.

Contract Details

Contracts awarded under this CSO will be fixed-price, including fixed-price incentive fee, and will utilize FAR Part 12 Commercial Item Procedures. Both traditional and non-traditional defense contractors are eligible. The period of performance for individual solution briefs or Commercial Solution Proposals (CSPs) is generally no greater than 12 months.

  • AoI 007: AME Environmental Monitoring Service
    • Purpose: Contactless, LoRaWAN-based environmental monitoring system for Army Museum Enterprise (AME) collection locations to preserve artifacts.
    • Key Requirements: Turn-key subscription, hardware provision/management, secure cloud data, user support.

Submission & Evaluation

The CSO process involves up to three phases: a Solution Brief (max 5 pages/15 slides), an optional Presentation/Pitch, and a Commercial Solution Proposal (CSP).
