Scope of Work
The requirement involves the demolition of two existing service air compressors and the installation of two new 50hp rotary compressors at AEDC Building 651. Each new compressor must deliver at least 220 CFM at 115 psig and fit within the existing concrete pad (15'6"x14'5"). The vendor is responsible for providing all necessary hardware, labor, and services, including rigging, piping, and making electrical connections to the 480V disconnect. AEDC will provide a 40T overhead crane/forklift for lifts and will dispose of the old compressors. The Buy American Act applies to this acquisition.
Deliverables include a written report validating OEM specifications, performance evaluation, commissioning by factory-trained technicians, proper installation verification, operating parameter checks, 3-phase motor rotation check, control set point adjustment, basic operator training, and a detailed maintenance schedule.
